Changes in organizational leadership create uncertainty for some of those that are left behind, while creating opportunities for others to step up to the plate and take charge. “We used to do it like this,” is no longer an acceptable protocol.
Change is good for an organization if people learn to cope with it effectively, and use it as an opportunity to get better. Effective organizations blossom in the face of change, and create new beginnings. We cherish those that blaze the leadership trail, but do a disservice by comparing personalities.
