They Watch Us

Be careful what you say, and how you act in front of children. They watch us, and learn from us — the good, the bad, and the ugly.

They learn racism and hate from us. They learn kindness and compassion too. Don’t teach your children by the spoken word. Teach them my modeling good behavior, and leading by example. That is the least we can do for them — teach them well. And, as a result, maybe we can leave a better world for these precious children.
