Sit comfortably, close your eyes, clear your mind, think nothing, and just breathe. These ten to fifteen minutes a day of meditative solitude will change your life, in more ways than one. The key is to set an intention for your meditation practice each day. My intention for today, was to practice kindness.
It is a good idea to get the blood flowing before you settle down to meditate. It generates positive energy in the body. Thank you to Lamor Silas for teaching me the power of meditation, and empowering me to listen to God in my moments of solitude.
