Those Who Live in Glass Houses…

stones

There are those among us, for whom nothing is ever good enough. The tendency is to spend more time peeking into, and passing value judgments on other peoples’ lives instead of getting our own homes in order.

The problem manifests itself across the workplace and in our personal interactions. Whether it is peoples’ sexual orientation, envy about their success, or value choices that contradict ours, we need to keep an open mind and learn to respect those around us.

The goal is not to make people see the world from our vantage point, but to accept professional and personal choices that others make, even though they may be in sharp contrast to those that we may have made.

Learn to live, and let live.

Don”t throw stones — they could rebound, and smack us right in the face!
