Uncommitted

friday

Paycheck workers are committed to the dollars that come in every fifteen days. They consider work to be a hoop they must jump through to get money in the bank. They flee at the first sign of trouble, or the first chance they get to make a few dollars more. They quit before they ever get started. Transaction employees are a waste of time and effort. Let them go!

And then there are the mission driven, vision inspired people who stand firm, battle through during difficult times, and stay the course. That’s the team I want to build and lead. The challenge is to find these diamonds in the rough. I have had my fair share of success and failure in this regard. My core team is brilliant, but the quest for finding the right talent is a continuous journey.
