Our world has been turned on its head. Business has gone to hell in a hand basket. Some hotels are running at 8 percent occupancy. Yes. You read it right — 8 percent. Major retailers are going belly up, faster than you can spell “belly up”.
Mass layoffs is the new normal. Executives are taking major pay cuts. Over 40 million unemployed struggle to feed their families. It’s a blood bath out there, and the sharks are in a feeding frenzy.
Our leadership has failed us. The death toll is climbing. Nervous energy and high anxiety is the new order of the day. Everyone is hurting in so many ways.
This level of hurt is not sustainable. Something has to give — and quickly. Ultimately, this crazy world will right itself and land on its feet. And all will be well. We are all waiting with bated breath.
