Water, Wine & Prayer

The massive storm Irma barrels towards Florida with a potential viscous punch that would bring the very best to their knees. The store shelves are empty. Storm survival essentials are long gone. The lines at the pump meander through the local neighborhood almost like an aimless river in search of the ocean.

The uncertainty of the storm path plays games with the mind. A watchful eye on the television frays the nerves as we seek the slightest hope of deviation from a direct hit. We have learned to prepare for the worst and pray for the best. The fury of Mother Nature takes no prisoners. Time to hunker down and sip on the fruit of the grape. And some divine intervention can only help.
