When there is a change in leadership, when a new consultant walks in the door, or their is industry news that raises an alarm, the common question in everyone’s mind is “what about me”? Significant company wide changes create a new normal, and occasionally, a paradigm shift.
Good leaders share information, alleviate fears, reassure the troops. When major changes in ownership occur, some of the leaders ride off into the sunset, and some of the worker bees slide down the slippery slope of corporate governance, and become collateral damage.
