I heard the leader of the free world say that running a government takes heart, but that there is no heart involved in running a business.
Wrong. In every sense of the word. Business is all about heart, and passion, and relationships. And about doing the right thing for the right reasons.
As long as business is run by people, and not machines, heart more than money will drive the enterprise. When money is the only motivator that drives business, failure is almost certainly around the corner.
