When Families Come Together

Family

I love the holiday season — it’s my favorite time of year.
I can do without the shopping, the crowds and snarling traffic as millions indulge in retail therapy. I prefer a quiet, more reflective environment. And YES, Amazon!

I love the holidays because of family. We put our collective lives on hold and spend time together on morning walks, bad Hindi movies and the proverbial glass of wine. Even though it is only for a few days, it allows all of us to refocus on what’s important when all is said and done.

Sometimes the pace of our daily lives blurs the importance of togetherness and what matters. The holidays allow us to slow things down, just a tad. Reach-out to those you love to celebrate family and bask in the joy of quality time together.

Have a Blessed Holiday Season.

Well said my friend! The season also allows us to sit and chat with friends…also one of those things that our “busy” lives interfere with to often.
