When Good People Leave

missing-piece

Organizational excellence is built on the backs of the people, who are able to articulate a vision, carry a gritty work ethic, and deliver on the promise of service. They bring a certain passion and commitment to the company that goes beyond the job. Their sheer presence infuses an energy into the workplace that is infectious.

I am not sure there is any way to replace these people, as life calls them to serve for a greater cause than work.  How should we honor them? By continuing to fulfill their legacy with hard work and determination. Unfortunately, when these special people leave, they create a vacuum in our lives. And that is a tad more difficult to fill.
