She is as wicked as they come. Five months of puppy exuberance and never ending energy. Little Emily Pearl went from being a twelve week old sweet little puppy to a twenty week toddler that is like a house on fire.
Her energy knows no bounds. She terrorizes the other dogs, though she is occasionally reprimanded by Molly, my six year old retriever. The inside of my home looks like a beautiful garden, as she finds joy in carrying in large pieces of mulch and breaking them into a million little pieces. There are toys strewn all over the house, yet she finds the greatest joy in my slippers.
Emily plays to a point of exhaustion and then quietly passes out where she can find a place to lay down for a bit. This little rascal is as sweet and psychotic as they come. She still gives the best kisses, and has made our home her own.
There is something about the innocence of puppies that tugs at the heart strings. Good thing she’s cute, or she would be in a whole lot of hurt.
