My earlier post on Vince touched the hearts of many in our Montessori family. Parents, teachers, and members of the community gave generously.
Vince and his beautiful girls left with a small bounty of household goods, clothes, tons of toys, money, gift cards etc, etc. These small gestures of kindness will help Vince get back on his feet and start rebuilding a life destroyed by the recent floods.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening your hearts and your wallets. These tokens of kindness are reassuring symbols of the goodness in people. When all else fails, we do end up relying on each other. And there is nothing more powerful than nurturing the human spirit.
