Today I start my 30th year at the University of Tampa (UT). I have often written about the impact this beautiful place has had on my family, my career, and my life.
The young brash professor, has given way to a seasoned, thoughtful professional. My role has evolved to that of a mentor, and a guardian of the culture, that makes this place so special.
Some of my dearest friends of yesteryears have moved on, and I am now the “old guy” who teaches the young folks the ropes. At the end of the day, UT has been about its people.
Ultimately, UT has been about the thousand of students that have sat in my classes, and shone in multiple facets of their lives. Their success is central to my very being.
Can’t wait to get back in the classroom. Part of my heart and soul resides within the confines of those four corners.
