Former students and associates talked about Judi’s kindness and compassion, and about her being a mentor that brought out the best in them. Notice how no one talked about her publication record, or her salary, or her wealth? Not that one ever gets rich as a college professor. Trust me!
Ultimately, our legacy is determined by the lives we touch and the impact we have on others. Personal accolades and the trophy case will have to wait. What is your legacy going to be?
